DIY HONGKONG TRIP
One of my highlights this year is to go out of the country. Vietnam was my first choice since I've received a lot of good feedback about it. However, there was no seat sale promo available at that time except for Hongkong. Hence, my officemate and I booked a ticket for two to Hongkong.
Initially, our plan is to travel both Hongkong and Macau but since we've booked a roundtrip ticket to Hongkong, Macau was later on ticked off our bucket list. We've decided to just maximize our stay in HK since we've also booked the wrong departure date going back to Manila.
Looking back, it was kinda funny and annoying at the same time. But even so, we've still managed to have a great experience there. Our total expense for a 3N2D DIY trip to HK was almost Php 20,000.00. But it could be lowered to Php 10,000-15,000.00 if you won't buy any pasalubong for your friends and relatives and if you won't splurge on shopping for yourself. :)
